Erotic Art

Loïc Dubigeon
Born in 1934 to a family of shipowners in Nantes, Loïc Dubigeon was not just an accomplished artist, but a sculptor and a muralist. He received his training as an architect at the Arts et Métiers de Paris.
What makes him unusual as an artist was the difference between his openly erotic work and his designs for the classic Hermes scarves. Examples of his scarf designs can be seen here.

Vintage Erotic Art

Illustration by Antonin Ivanovitch Soungouroff which may have been included in Au Mont de Venus (1947), an illustrated erotic text, recounting the various heterosexual and homosexual encounters of a young Frenchmen. The book was condemned by the French Tribunal the year after publication (and again in 1953) and is exceedingly uncommon, but the identity of the author remains unknown. The illustrator, although not attributed, was undoubtedly Antonin Soungouroff, a Russian emigre who settled in France in the 1930s.
