This picture was used as the cover for a science fiction book written by Isaac Asimov.

Unfortunately, no amount of research could identify the artist. Perhaps if you had the original book, the artist credit may be in that. However Steven (see notes) was far better at research than I was and reveals the artist is Phillipe Caza. Thank you Steven.

From Pin Up Wings by Romain Hugault. As the son of a colonel in the French Air Force, artist Hugault has long had a personal passion for the history and technology of aviation and has been a trained pilot since the age of 17. A graduate of the Ecole Estienne, he has illustrated reference books on aviation, some for the French Air Force, in addition to his work on graphic novels with aviation themes.
