German photographer, Günter Blum

Torso in the manner of Otto Dix(1994).

Blum died in 1997 from lung cancer.

Apart from his erotic photographs (some published in Playboy & Penthouse), also worked in graphic design and created many record covers in the 1970’s.

Anita Berber – German dancer, actress, writer, & prostitute who was the subject of an Otto Dix painting. Scandalously androgynous, she wore heavy dancer’s make-up, which on the black-and-white photos and films of the time came across as jet black lipstick painted across the heart-shaped part of her skinny lips, and charcoaled eyes. Her hair was cut into a short bob & was often bright red, as in 1925 when the painter Otto Dix painted a portrait of her, titled “The Dancer Anita Berber“. She died in 1928.
