Kate Moss rose to fame in the early 1990s as part of the heroin chic fashion trend. She is known for her waifish figure, and role in size zero fashion. She received an award at the 2013 British Fashion Awards to acknowledge her contribution to fashion over 25 years.
In 1999, Moss played a non-musical role in the British screen comedy Blackadder: Back & Forth, appearing both as Maid Marian and as a fictional Queen of England “who looks good naked”. Director and writer Richard Curtis said in the making of the video, that they wanted “the best looking woman in England” to play the role. In 2014, she made an acting cameo as herself in The Boy in the Dress. (Read more)

Tony Curtis and Sharon Tate in 1967.

Tony Curtis, Marilyn Monroe and Jack Lemmon from the 1959 film, Some Like It Hot. The film was directed by Billy Wilder and also starred George Raft. In 2000, the American Film Institute listed Some Like It Hot as the greatest American comedy film of all time. Curtis managed to put up with M.M. (the famous quote alleged to have been said by Curtis after the film “Kissing Monroe was like kissing Hitler”) and did a reasonable Cary Grant impersonation when he was pretending to be a millionaire.

The best line of all times ended the film. Lemmon, dressed as a woman and engaged to Joe E. Brown, after failing to dissuade the amorous Brown,  removes his wig and shouts, “I’m a man!”, only for Brown to utter the film’s memorable last line, “Well, nobody’s perfect.” Funny now, the film must have been outrageous when it was first released!
