Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin, probably from the 1973 film by Roger Vadim, Don Juan ou Si Don Juan était une femme… (English title: If Don Juan Were a Woman).

Jane Birkin plays the role of a woman who falls in love with Brigitte Bardot’s character. “I accepted immediately just to be in bed with Bardot,” said Birkin later. “She’s the most utterly perfect woman. There’s not a fault. God knows, I looked. Even her feet are pretty.” (Read more)

Jane Birkin in the 1960s. Do not know who the photographer was. Birkin is an English actress and singer who lives in France and, perhaps, best known for her relationship with Serge Gainsbourg in the 1970s.

Serge Gainsbourg was a French singer-songwriter, actor and director. Gainsbourg was married twice and had a tempestuous affair with Brigitte Bardot before he fell in love with the younger English singer and actress Jane Birkin. Their relationship lasted over a decade and, in 1971 they had a daughter, the actress and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg. He is famous for explicit songs such as “Les Sucettes” and “Je t’aime… moi non plus”, which featured the simulated sounds of female orgasm.
