Lace Stocking Welt

For those that don’t know, the welt is knitted separately and machine-sewn to the top of a stocking.
The standard welt in fashioned stockings, is knit in a heavier denier yarn and folded double to give strength for supporter fastening.
The lace welt is used primarily with stay-up stockings. The welt is not as strong and has elastic sewn in.
